Ronnie Baxter

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Ronnie Baxter, age 46, of Caneyville, who left us on Thursday, October 2, 2025. Born on July 15, 1979, to the late Ronald Baxter Sr. and Patricia Ashley Kendall, Ronnie was a devoted father, brother, and friend, whose spirit will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew him.

Ronnie dedicated his life to his work as a land surveyor, a vocation that reflected his love for the outdoors and his keen attention to detail. Yet, it was in the moments spent with his family and friends where Ronnie truly shone. His cherished son, Michael, was his pride and joy. Ronnie found indescribable happiness in sharing laughter and experiences with them, creating lasting memories that will be treasured forever.

He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Patricia Kendall, and her husband, Ricky; his brothers, Jason Baxter (Crystal), Joey Baxter (Christina), and Patrick Burton; and his sister, Leslie Adkins (Dirk). Ronnie is also survived by a loving circle of friends who appreciated his warm and compassionate nature. Though he faced the heartbreaking loss of his son, Gabrial Baxter, Ronnie's love for his family remained unwavering throughout his life.

A visitation will take place from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, October 4, 2025, and will continue from 12 noon to 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at Leitchfield Funeral Home. A funeral service in honor of Ronnie's life will follow at 2:00 PM on October 5, 2025, with Dessie Seibert officiating. We will gather to celebrate his life and the loving memories we hold dear. Ronnie will be laid to rest in the serene surroundings of the Memorial Gardens.
