Michael William Daniel

Michael William Daniel, age 73, of Anneta, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025, at Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center in Leitchfield. Born on September 2, 1952, in Dayton, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Herbert Franklin and Ruby Madeline Sprague Daniel.

Those who knew Michael will remember him as a spirited individual who loved the thrill of hitchhiking across the United States, always keen to explore new horizons. He had a passion for watching sports and enjoyed spending quiet afternoons by the water, fishing. Michael is survived by his loving sister, Barb Shaw; his brothers, Ronnie and Randy Daniel; and his cherished niece, Susan Daniel. While he had a remarkable bond with his family, he is preceded in death by five brothers-Thomas, Chuck, Robert "Bob," Douglas, and Timothy Daniel-and his sister, Linda Murray. 

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has been chosen. A celebration of Michael's life will take place at a later date, where family and friends will gather to share stories, honor his memory, and reflect on the wonderful moments spent together. He will ultimately be laid to rest at Alexandria Cemetery in Alexandria, Kentucky.
