Judy Ann Lowery

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Judy Ann Lowery, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who left us on September 30, 2025, at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville. Judy was 77 years old, having been born on August 26, 1948, in Louisville, KY, to the late John B. Hack, Jr. and Mae Rhea Bell Hack.

Judy dedicated much of her life to serving others through her work in food service at Greenview Hospital. Her compassion for others was matched only by the strong sense of family she instilled in her loved ones. A member of the First General Baptist Church in Leitchfield, Judy found peace and joy in her faith and community. She had a special love for reading, solving crossword puzzles, and enjoying movies, often sharing those moments with those she loved most.

Judy leaves behind her beloved children, Joseph Lowery (Makayla) and Jennifer Sweeney (Rick), who will forever carry her love with them. She is also survived by her three beautiful grandchildren, Mattie and Cassidy Sweeney and Mae Lowery, who brought her immeasurable joy. Her siblings, Joyce Hack, Jerry Hack (Myra), and Jimmy Hack (Rita) will remember her fondly as the caring sister who brought warmth and laughter into their lives.
