John Gregory Grant

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Gregory Grant, known fondly as Greg, who quietly left us on August 22, 2026, at his home in Leitchfield, KY. Born on October 28, 1961, Greg was a true son of Leitchfield, cherished by all who knew him.

Greg had a way of making life feel a little brighter. Those who spent time with him will remember his love for the great outdoors, particularly the peaceful moments spent fishing. He found joy in the simplest things and cherished his time with family, especially his granddaughters, Kaitlynn, Allison, and Miley. They brought so much happiness to his life, and he was proud to watch them grow.

Left to carry on his legacy of love and laughter are his devoted daughter, Amanda Stewart, his beloved granddaughters, and his many great-grandchildren, along with his brothers, Clyde, Curtis, and Phillip. He loved his family fiercely and shared countless memories with them that will be treasured forever.

Aside from his parents, Greg joins in spirit his son, Zachary Grant, who preceded him in death, leaving behind a void that will be felt deeply by all who loved him.

Visitation will be available on Monday evening from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and again on Tuesday morning from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM, at which time we will leave for the cemetery from the funeral home. Following the ceremony, Greg will be laid to rest in St. Anthony Cemetery, ensuring that he remains forever close to the place he called home.
