James Ervin Anderson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James Ervin Anderson, 56, who left us peacefully on March 10, 2026. Born on July 14, 1969, in Leitchfield, KY, James was a beloved son, father, and friend whose warm spirit touched many lives.

James was a proud veteran of the United States Army, having served during Desert Storm. He found joy in simple pleasures like fishing, hunting mushrooms, and spending time with his longtime companions-his beloved pets, including his faithful dog, Jo Jo. He is survived by his children, Johnathan, Stephanie, and Catie, along with his stepchildren, Kevin and Tyler, and his grandson, Vincent. His laughter and genuine kindness will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.

James was preceded in death by his father, James "Jimmy" Anderson, a son, Jacob Anderson, and his cherished grandparents and a dear friend, Robbie Green. He is also survived by his loving mother, Mary Anderson; his brothers, Davy and Joey; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins who will carry on his spirit.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has been chosen.
