Franklin Hollingshead

Frank Hollingshead, age 80, of Upton Kentucky died peacefully following a stroke on February 5th 2026. He was born April 7th 1945 in Besoco West Virginia.
Frank was preceded in death by his father Charles Thomas Hollingshead, mother Orpha Cole Hollingshead, sister Patricia Roles, and brother Roger Hollingshead.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Hollingshead, son Dan Hollingshead, grandson Joey Thatcher, granddaughter Moriah Hollingshead, brother Charles Hollingshead and his wife Connie, his sister Freda Strauser and her husband Gerry, brother Pete Hollingshead and his wife Dottie, and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a celebration of life April 7th, 2026 at 5:00 pm at Thurman Landing, 201 Western Ave., Sonora Kentucky. Remember this is Frank. Dress is casual. 

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you perform a random act of kindness.

A military service is planned for April 8th 2026, at the Central Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, 250 North Dixie Blvd, in Radcliff Kentucky.

He is loved and will be missed.
