It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charles "Jasper" Quisenberry, who left us unexpectedly on April 27, 2026, at the age of 44. Born on June 28, 1981, in Elizabethtown, KY, Jasper was the beloved son of the late Charles and Vicki Tomes Quisenberry.
Jasper was a devoted husband to his wife, Kathy Day Quisenberry, and a proud father to four wonderful children: Daniel Clark (Amanda), Jared Quisenberry (Kat), Ariel Smith (John), and Samantha Hack (John). He cherished every moment spent with his family, from fishing trips to evenings filled with music, especially his favorite gospel tunes. He truly enjoyed fulfilling his calling by preaching the Gospel for various churches.
Jasper will also be deeply missed by his three loving sisters, Charlene Young (Richard), Tonya Helphenstine, and Charity Quisenberry, along with his four cherished grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. His spirit, kindness, and laughter will forever echo in the hearts of all who knew him.
We invite friends and family to come together to celebrate Jasper's life and legacy at Millwood Community Non-Denominational Church. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 4, 2026, at 1:00 PM, with Bro. Howard Shartzer, Bro. Stetson Mears, and Bro. Demetre Keener officiating. Visitation will take place on Sunday, May 3, from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM and again on Monday morning from 9:00 AM until service time at the church. Following the ceremony, Jasper will be laid to rest at McGrew Church Cemetery in Anneta, a place of peace that he loved.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes expressions of sympathy in the form of donations to Leitchfield Funeral Home to assist with final expenses. Together, let us honor Jasper's memory and the joy he brought into our lives. Online condolences can be shared at www.leitchfieldfh.com.
Please join us as we remember a truly remarkable man.
