Carl Miller

Carl Martin Miller, age 80 of Leitchfield, passed away Friday, October 2nd 2020 at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield. A native son of Leitchfield, he was born June 8th 1940 to Louis & Roxie Wells Miller. He worked for CSX Railroad Company for 42 years maintaining their telecommunications systems. Along with his dedication to his work, Carl was a member of the Clarkson Baptist Church as well a member of the Wilhelm Masonic Lodge 720 F&AM and the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. Carl loved watching Kentucky Basketball, socializing with his numerous friends and considered a good man by all who knew him. He was a devoted husband, loving father, and a faithful friend. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary Nell Wortham Miller, three children, Carla Brenner, Glenn Miller, & Melissa Miller, and one grandchild, Miles Miller. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Louis Miller and two sisters, Frankie Taylor & Ann Miller. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday October 6th 2020 a the Watson & Hunt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Sanders Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday and from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home. All those who wish to honor and remember Carl in person at the visitation or service are required to wear a mask for the safety of all those in attendance.
