Bonnie Braun

Bonnie (Herald) Braun passed away at 9:40 PM on the evening of August 21, 2026.

She was the beloved wife of the late Louis Allen Braun. Together they were the proud parents of two sons, Ricky Allen Braun (Carlene) and Robert Dwaine Braun (Diane).

Bonnie was a devoted grandmother to Sara, Amanda, Greg, and Adam, and a loving great-grandmother to Jude, Mila, Cole, Emma, Nikolas, Beck, and Vera.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lafayette Herald; her mother, Zonia Dunn (Hardin); and her siblings Gene Herald, Bill Herald, John Herald, Rissie Anne Cook, Estellene Devine, Joanna Dunn, Hardin Dunn Jr., Susie Armstrong, James Dunn, Charles Dunn, and David Dunn.

Viewing services will be held at 10:00 AM CST until 11:30 AM CST on Thursday at Leitchfield Funeral Home, 2373 Elizabethtown Rd., Leitchfield, KY 42754. Mass will be held at 12:00 PM CST on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 1256 St. Anthony Rd., Clarkson, KY 42726. 

She will be laid to rest beside her loving husband, Louis Allen Braun, at the Bee Spring Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Bee Spring, KY.
