Bob Michael Korb

Bob Michael Korb, age 65, of Clarkson, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. A devoted family man, Bob's generous spirit and unwavering kindness touched the lives of all who knew him.In life, Bob served honorably in the United States Army, embodying the values of service and sacrifice. He was the kind of man who would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need, and his welcoming demeanor meant he never met a stranger. His warmth and ability to connect with others made him a cherished friend and confidant to many.

As a loving husband, father, and grandfather, Bob found joy in the simple pleasures of life-spending time with his family, sharing stories around the dinner table, and enjoying the thrill of hunting in nature. His love for his family was evident, and he leaves behind a legacy of affection that will continue to resonate through generations.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, his late wife Peggy Korb, and his son Raymond Korb. 

He is survived by his beloved wife, Cindy Hewitt Korb; his six children, Laura Spencer, Charles Korb, Willam Korb, Mikey Korb, David Kays, and Steven Hewitt; his sisters, Linda Korb Johnson Douglas, Stephany Kays; and several grandchildren, extended family, and close friends who will miss him dearly.

Visitation for Bob will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Leitchfield Funeral Home in Leitchfield, KY. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place at 1:00 PM at the same location. Following Bob's wishes, he will be cremated. Bob will be laid to rest at Ollie Cemetery in Edmonson County, where he will find his eternal peace surrounded by loved ones.
